Pelagic Birding Tour

Our Pelagic (Ocean) Bird Tour (2.5hrs) generally departs at 9am and 1pm daily and includes a scenic birding tour of the Muttonbird Islands. Ocean birds you may see include Albatross, Yellow-Eyed and Little Blue penguins, Cormorants, Petrels, Terns and more. Dolphin and penguin spotting is also a highlight of this tour. The fare for this tour is $NZD160 per adult, and we have a minimum fare of 4 adults.

Our tour vessels are very comfortable, with an onboard toilet, heated enclosed cabin, lounge-style seating, full bird identification guides and a fully covered viewing deck. There is also ample viewing space from within the comfortable cabin.
